About Dr Ashwini Mane
Dr. Ashwini Mane Patil is the first Oncopathologist in Kolhapur. She holds a great Experience of 12 years in her field.
She completed her MBBS – from B J Medical College, Pune in 2004, MD from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 2009.
She is Certified & Trained in –
1. Quality management systems & Internal Audit in Medical Labs as per ISO 15189.
2. Molecular Biology.
3. Presently, enrolled for certification in Digital pathology.
Areas of interest – Oncopathology, Immunohistochemistry & molecular study.
Besides Oncopathology, Dr. Ashwini has keen interest in Quality Assurance.
She has 7 Publication in her name.
After joining Kolhapur Cancer Centre, We were the first to start immunohistochemistry as well as frozen section, in Kolhapur. Going forward, Dr. Ashwini is confident to develop Molecular study department to benefit all the patients as that will be the future.
