Welcome to our Radiation Oncology department! We offer a comprehensive training program designed to provide students with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of Radiation Oncology. Here’s what you can expect from our program:

Program Overview:

  • Training Duration: Comprehensive 3-year program.
  • Curriculum: Includes theoretical knowledge in radiation physics, radiation biology, clinical oncology, and practical training in treatment planning and patient management.

Hands-On Clinical Experience

  • Patient Exposure: Our department treats over 1,500 patients annually, providing a wide range of clinical cases and treatment scenarios.
  • Brachytherapy Procedures: We perform more than 500 Brachytherapy treatments each year, allowing students to gain specialized experience in this technique.

Advanced Treatment Techniques

Our hospital is equipped with the latest technology and offers a variety of advanced treatment techniques, including:

  • 3D Conformal Radiation (3DCR)
  • Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
  • Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
  • Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
  • Active Breathing Coordinator (ABC)
  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
  • Total Body Irradiation (TBI)
  • HDR Brachytherapy

These techniques are delivered using our state-of-the-art linear accelerators and Brachytherapy:

  • Elekta Versa HD
  • Elekta Precise
  • Elekta Microselectron V3
