FHNO Head & Neck Oncology Fellowship
(For Non-Maxillofacial Background Candidates)
Kolhapur Cancer Centre offers FHNO-certified fellowship programs aimed at developing expertise in Head & Neck Oncology through structured training, research, and multidisciplinary exposure.
Eligible Primary Qualifications
Candidates must hold one of the following degrees from NMC-recognized institutions:
- MS ENT / DNB Otorhinolaryngology
- MS General Surgery / DNB General Surgery
- MCh / DNB Surgical Oncology (enhanced H&N training)
- MCh Head & Neck Surgery
- Equivalent surgical specialty acceptable under FHNO guidelines
- Valid registration with NMC / State Medical Council
Eligibility Criteria
- Completed postgraduate training + mandatory registration
- Basic operative and clinical experience preferred
- Selection through departmental assessment + FHNO approval
Duration
- 2-year full-time structured fellowship
- Includes H&N surgical oncology training, reconstruction principles, multidisciplinary rotations, research, and logbook-based competency assessment
- Certificate Awarded: “FHNO Head & Neck Oncology Fellowship”
